Christmas is a runaway train that cannot be stopped. As magnificent of a feast as Thanksgiving is, it’s simply a nice diversion from all the early yuletide hullabaloo, giving us football, tons of food – with leftovers for days – and fellowship. None of which stands a chance against bright lights, shiny presents, great holiday music, and a big old tree, with ornaments from top to bottom. Oh, and Santa, of course. Get ready for the big day by doing some good and living it up.
