Prairie du Chien Oktoberfest 2026
The annual Oktoberfest in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin is a 4-day event held from October 14th-17th. For the small price of a button — and a little bit of spending money—people can be entertained with German music, food. beer, contests, crafts & much more.
Some fan favorite activities include the parade, keg toss, beer stein holding, sauerkraut eating contest, hammerschlagen, corn hole tournament, car show & the area’s largest beer pong tournament! Many children’s activities that include face painting. nature crafts, kids root beer stein holding contest, a corn bin, pumpkin bowling & bouncy houses!
To kick off the fest “Bingo” begins on Wednesday from 1:30pm-3:30pm. On Thursday there is “Lederhosen Games, music & Euchre Tournament” at the local Eagles Club. Friday night is the “Tapping of the Keg Party”.
Saturday Oct 17th is jam packed full of activities beginning with a disc golf tournament at 7:00am & parade following at 10:00am which runs right on Blackhawk Ave down to the fest grounds at St. Feriole Island. The “Rotary After Party” which runs on Saturday from 5:30pm-10pm at the fest grounds will include more music, food & beer pong tournament.
