Mayville Audubon Days 40th Anniversary

September 20

Mayville Celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Audubon Days with a Weekend of Family Fun, Live Entertainment, and Community Tradition

A cherished Dodge County tradition is reaching a major milestone as Audubon Days celebrates its 40th Anniversary with an unforgettable weekend of family fun, hometown traditions, and community spirit.

Held September 17–20, 2026, throughout downtown Mayville and Fireman’s Park, Audubon Days has spent four decades bringing together residents, visitors, businesses, and volunteers to celebrate everything that makes Mayville a special place to live, work, and visit. This year’s anniversary celebration promises favorite annual events along with special activities to commemorate 40 years of community memories.

The celebration begins on Thursday, September 17, with a special drive-in showing of Monster House in honor of the film’s 20th anniversary. Mayville native Rob Schrab, writer and producer of the animated feature, is unable to attend the event, but will be introducing the movie with a short video clip!

Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy many of the traditions that have made Audubon Days a community favorite for generations, including:

Friday Night Bed Races, which includes kids and adult bed races

Community Parade
