Are you ready to get your car collecting motor running and to join up with fellow automotive enthusiasts? Mark your calendars for the 33rd annual BOPC Swap Meet and Corral on Sunday, Feb. 16, in St. Charles, Ill.
This get-together is for all Chicagoland BOPC (Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, and Cadillac) car clubs. Downstate and neighboring states are also welcome!
Having started in Wheaton, the event moved to the Kane County Fairgrounds in 2011. Located at 525 S. Randall Rd., this venue features a large, heated building with free, paved parking. Vendor spots are available both indoors and outside.
Members shop, then hang around the lobby where there is food, car club membership booths, and just plain good camaraderie. Our clientele is a hardy bunch, and we have many outdoor vendors year after year. Whole cars and large parts can be found in the outdoor sellers’ arena.
Need to warm up? There is a great food vendor with a wide variety served indoors (not a food truck outdoors) and plenty of tables where you can relax.
Vendor-only setup will take place on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. or on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Indoor vendor spots ($50) are selling fast, and just a few outdoor vendor spots ($35) remain.
Show hours on Sunday are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $8. There is free, paved parking.
