Art in the Green, one of Milwaukee’s most popular spring
art festivals, returns to the Mitchell Park Domes for two days of creativity, connection, and
celebration inside Milwaukee’s iconic living landmark.
Hosted by the Milwaukee Domes Alliance, this indoor art festival brings together more than two
dozen regional and local artists for a weekend surrounded by lush greenery and global plant
collections. Visitors can discover woodwork, jewelry, paintings, ceramics, and other handcrafted
pieces while strolling through the Domes, a one-of-a-kind horticultural conservatory that
transports guests across ecosystems and continents in the course of an afternoon.
“Art in the Green reflects what the Domes do best, bringing people together in a space that
restores our connection to nature and to each other,” said Christa Beall Diefenbach, CEO,
Milwaukee Domes Alliance. “There’s something special about encountering local art inside a
living museum filled with plants from around the world. It’s immersive, it’s inspiring, and it’s
uniquely Milwaukee.”
The Mitchell Park Domes welcome nearly 300,000 visitors annually, serving as a year-round
refuge and gathering place for the community. Events like Art in the Green continue that
tradition, spotlighting local creativity while inviting guests to experience nature in a welcoming,
accessible environment.
Throughout the weekend, attendees can:

~Explore diverse art mediums including wood, ceramics, painting, jewelry, and more
~Enjoy food and beverage stations and live music throughout the Domes
~Experience Milwaukee’s “great in-doors” — a warm, weather-proof oasis at the heart of
the city

General admission: $15 adults | $5 children (ages 3–12) | Free for children 2 and under
Tickets available at the door. No advance purchase required.
Memberships start at $30 and include 12 months of admission to the Domes.
