
Weaving a Legacy: Ho-Chunk Black Ash Basketry

A groundbreaking exhibition introducing audiences to the historically important and visually compelling tradition of Native basketmaking in Wisconsin, featuring dozens of works by Ho-Chunk makers from the mid-1800s to the present. The exhibition is curated by Tom Jones, a Ho-Chunk artist and University of Wisconsin–Madison Professor of Photography and is organized by the Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend.
The Paine is closed for maintenance January 7-March 15 and will reopen to the public with Weaving a Legacy.

Tuesday – Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Admission includes viewing the Paine mansion, gardens, and exhibition.
